Why we started this firm
Agile Media Africa opened for business on 2nd January 2023, women-founded and led. We were built to sit between two persistent gaps in this region's communications work — strong strategy from global agencies that couldn't be delivered on the ground, and strong local delivery without the strategic foundation to make it count.
Kampala-based, remote-first by design. Much of how we work comes from sport — where deadlines are absolute, feedback is public, and the scoreline is the review.

Fifteen years of communications, before the firm existed.
Aggie founded Agile Media Africa on 2nd January 2023. She brought fifteen years of strategic communications, public relations, and media experience from Uganda's public and private sectors — from the Office of the Vice President to Allison Worldwide to some of the region's most active marketing firms.
She started the firm to close a gap she'd watched widen for years: African organisations doing important work were being served by communications that either understood the strategy or understood the culture, rarely both. Agile Media Africa was built to hold both.
